When Vladimir met Silvio

Fun and games with the ongoing Wikileaks scandal. I have a life, and am thus unable to study all these delicious revelations as closely as I’d like to. Well done to the Guardian, yet again, because they seem to have a team whose only (soul-destroying) task is to comb through the vast acres of cyber-embarrassment for our delectation.

One choice piece caught my eye in today’s Grauniad. Apparently there have been fears, as yet unsupported by hard evidence, that Signior Berlusconi may be profiting personally from his cosy relationship with the fragrant and incorruptible Mr Putin. Snug weekends in the Berlusconi mansion and the Putin dacha have resulted in some juicy Russo-Italian energy contracts. The diplomats fear that Vladimir and Silvio might be taking a cut. Surely not?

How cold is my valley?

Who I am

This blog started during the months before the 2010 General Election, in which I was the Green candidate for Calder Valley. It's morphed into an account of green activism...and other meanderings.
