More Tea (Vicar)

At this very moment the US is voting in the mid-terms – a term which is itself well known to me and my fellow West Wing addicts.

I find myself continually fascinated by the antics of the Tea Party. It’s like rubbernecking going past an accident – you know it’s awful to look, you know you’ll regret it, but you can’t help yourself.

The latest object of fascination/horror is called Sharron Angle. She’s from Nevada, she doesn’t think Autism exists, she thinks Pres Obama is a socialist (yeah, right) and she may well be elected to the Senate. Oh, and she’s kinda right wing. I’ll let Sharron introduce herself in her own words:

“You know, this is a war of ideology, a war of thoughts and of faith. And we need people to really stand for faith and trust, not hope and change.”

Oh deary deary me……

How cold is my valley?

Who I am

This blog started during the months before the 2010 General Election, in which I was the Green candidate for Calder Valley. It's morphed into an account of green activism...and other meanderings.
