Posthumous Green Award

This week’s award goes to St Francis of Assisi. He was probably a veggie and would definitely have been a non-bloodsport kind of a guy. OK, it’s a stretch, but I needed to remind myself, and others, that the current Pope and his anti-gay rhetoric are only one aspect of the Catholic church!

Yup, my confirmation saint definitely has a new relevance these days. But, here and now with regard to blood, there is surely a local parliamentary candidate whose recent failure to lead effectively and in a humanitarian manner would have made that particular saint weep?

Should you not be joining calls for resignation, or continue to keep silent on the matter?

How cold is my valley?

Who I am

This blog started during the months before the 2010 General Election, in which I was the Green candidate for Calder Valley. It's morphed into an account of green activism...and other meanderings.
