Posthmous Green Award

This week’s award goes to George Orwell, partly to mark the 60th anniversary of his death on the 21st Jan, and also in anticipation of Tony Blair going to the Hutton Enquiry on Friday. We need the likes of Orwell to help us make sense of the likes of Blair. He’d only be 106, even now (Orwell, not Blair) As to his being Green – well he’d hardly be Labour these days, now would he?

How cold is my valley?

Who I am

This blog started during the months before the 2010 General Election, in which I was the Green candidate for Calder Valley. It's morphed into an account of green activism...and other meanderings.
