The elusive Ms Booth

The week’s biggest disappointment, campaign-wise, has been the postponement of the candidates’ debate in Hebden Bridge. Steph Booth, Labour candidate and Cherie Blair’s stepmother, is suddenly unavailable. By a stroke of luck, the snow had stopped us from printing several thousand Green newsletters in which the debate was publicised.  An anonymous donor had kindly offered to cover our re-printing costs if necessary, but the hassle would have been hard to compensate for. Fortunately, we still have one in Lightcliffe to look forward to on the 2nd of February.

How cold is my valley?

Who I am

This blog started during the months before the 2010 General Election, in which I was the Green candidate for Calder Valley. It's morphed into an account of green activism...and other meanderings.
