Calder Valley and Calder Ward

December 12, 2009 at 11:39 am Leave a comment

Calderdale Greens met on Monday (without me, due to work commitments). My friend and colleague Alan McDonald has been put forward to fight the Calder ward in the local elections on 6th May. The smart money is on a general election the same day, so Alan and I will hopefully be campaigning in tandem. Upwards and onwards!

In the meantime I was invited to attend a sort of parliamentary open day for candidates, in Westminster on 11 December. This would have been fascinating, but I had a prior engagement with a clinic full of speech and language-delayed children….ah well.

How cold is my valley?

Who I am

This blog started during the months before the 2010 General Election, in which I was the Green candidate for Calder Valley. It's morphed into an account of green activism...and other meanderings.
