Copenhagen – thinking globally, acting locally

I am going neither to Copenhagen nor to London for ‘The Wave’. However I’m joining the other stragglers running a carbon-neutral stall in the centre of Hebden Bridge on 5 December. We want to raise awareness in our local community of the drastic importance of the Copenhagen negotiations. Do pop along if you’re around between 9 and 4.  It goes without saying that we’ll be with the marchers/wavers in spirit.  Anyone wanting to do their bit in a low-key way might want to sign the Friends of the Earth petition: http://www.foe.co.uk/climatetalks/petition.html

How cold is my valley?

Who I am

This blog started during the months before the 2010 General Election, in which I was the Green candidate for Calder Valley. It's morphed into an account of green activism...and other meanderings.
